Delivery & Installation

Delivery:

  • Orchid Homez's support and delivery teams will be in touch with you for a hassle-free delivery.
  • Free delivery is only applicable for the first attempt to deliver at your shipping address. If a customer misses this delivery, an extra visiting charge will be applicable for the second attempt.
  • In absence of a service lift, our delivery partner shall only make a delivery to the ground floor of your apartment. Extra charges applicable per floor on delivery to the customer’s floor (on request) in such cases.
  • Extra charges applicable for weekend or time-specific delivery.
  • Your product(s) will be held for 10 days at the nearest delivery hub if you’ve failed to receive the delivery. After this, Orchid Homez reserves the right to either change or cancel the order.

Installation:

  • Depending on the delivery condition, your product may or may not require installation assistance upon delivery.
  • If the delivery Condition is:
  • Pre-assembled – no installation is required. The product comes fully-assembled and ready to use.
  • Expert Assembly – expert assistance is required, for which Orchid Homez will provide carpenters to carry out proper installation and assembly.
  • Basic assembly/DIY – the product requires minimal installation/assembly, which can be carried out by the customer using simple tools and assembly instructions provided. No expert assistance required.

    Care & Maintenance

    • Use a thick, quality cloth like a tablecloth to cover your dining or other heavily used tables.
    • Always use hot pads or coasters under warm or cold items to protect the table surface.
    • Keep hot items like pans or baking dishes off the table surface, even if you're using a hot pad.
    • Avoid placing your furniture near windows or areas with direct sunlight to prevent fading.
    • Don't slide items across the table surface to prevent minor scratches.
    • Use candle holders to keep burning candles from touching the furniture, as the heat can damage it over time.
    • Clean your furniture regularly with a soft, damp cloth to maintain its quality. Avoid using rough rags or pressing too hard, as this can cause scratches.
    • If you spill something on the furniture, don't wipe it, as it can spread and damage the polish. Instead, blot the spill gently.
    • Keep your furniture away from damp walls to prevent moisture damage. If it does get moist, wipe it promptly with a dry, soft cloth.
