Care & Maintenance - Study Table

Gentle Cleaning: Dust regularly with a soft, lint-free cloth. For spills or stains, use a damp microfiber cloth with a mild soap solution. Avoid harsh chemicals, detergents, or abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the wood's finish.

Sun Safety: Direct sunlight can fade and crack acacia wood over time. While occasional sunlight exposure is fine, consider positioning your furniture away from direct sunlight for extended periods.

Moisture Management: Acacia wood is water-resistant, but avoid leaving liquids on the surface for extended periods. Clean up spills promptly with a dry cloth. For outdoor furniture, using a protective cover when not in use is recommended.

Conditioning: To maintain the natural luster of the wood and prevent drying, you can periodically condition your acacia furniture with a light application of boiled linseed oil or tung oil. Be sure to follow the instructions on the oil product and buff the wood to a soft sheen. Generally, oiling every 6 months to a year is sufficient, but adjust based on your climate and how often the furniture is used.
